We were in Memphis for the 4th of July this year. We went to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday!
Bartlett always has it's fireworks on the 3rd which is also mom's birthday. I just love how the whole city celebrates her that way! We went to her favorite restaurant, Mimi's, at 5:00. It is within walking distance of all of the festivities. Elizabeth and Caroline loved it all!
I was nervous about the girls staying up so late. Especially Caroline. But their cousins kept them quite entertained!
On the actual 4th, we tagged along with the Easons over to the McGill's house for some grilling and swimming. It was so fun to see so many friends that we haven't seen in a while. Facebook keeps you in the loop, but it was so much better seeing their faces, watching our kids play, and catching up with all of them in person. So much fun, that I didn't even take any pictures! Happy Independence Day!
