Relaxed

Last weekend was pretty busy.  So on Sunday after our Sunday School picnic and Elizabeth's soccer game, we treated ourselves to pedicures.  I told her to sit in the chair beside me and relax while she waited for her turn.  This is what happened...

My girl knows how to relax:)

Caroline's Princess Pajama Party

For Caroline's 3rd birthday she asked for a princess themed party.  Since we were mainly inviting neighbors and close friends, we decided to make it a brunch so we wouldn't have to get out of our jammies!

Each prince and princess had a crown to wear.  They might have been wearing their pjs but they were still royalty!

My princess
She had no idea that the REAL Cinderella was coming to her party too!  I wish I had gotten a picture of all the kids staring out the window while Cinderella came walking down the street.  They were all in awe!

First, she gave us some princess lessons.  Caroline was a little overwhelmed and acted shy.  She wouldn't let me put her down.

Then Cinderella painted all of their faces while they each colored a royal picture.

Caroline asked for half of her face to have the Elsa swirls and she wanted Olaf on the other side.  She got just what she asked for.
Thankfully these three princesses will have plenty of time to take more pictures where they are all smiling and looking at the camera:)

The boys led an exploration while they waited for everyone to finish!

After face painting, Cinderella had story time.  She read a book and sang so beautifully it filled up the whole house and held everyone's attention.

After storytime, she made balloon animals, swords, and flowers. For Caroline, she made Ariel out of the balloons.  It was pretty cool and C was very impressed.

Time to sing happy birthday to our princess!  Instead of cupcakes, we had chocolate frosted donuts with pink sprinkles.  Caroline was mesmerized by Cinderella as she sang "Happy Birthday."

This was the best group picture I could get. Some of the kids had to leave before the picture.

Caroline reminded us all day that Cinderella had come to HER house to see HER.  I know she felt so very special this day.

Caroline's royal family:)
After all the guests left, Caroline opened up her presents. She got so excited over every single one!

Caroline Lawson Kelly, you are growing up so fast.  Your sweet, silly personality brings so much joy to our lives.  We love you precious girl!

Because I almost forgot...

When I downloaded the pictures of Easter from my camera, I realized that there were some on there from our beach trip which (even though there are only a few) I had forgotten about.  And pictures from our egg hunt.  So here they are...

Wouldn't leave her daddy's arms for nothing!
This girl is definitely a beach baby!

the best picture i could get of all the kids giving themselves bunny ears

This was the first year Caroline didn't demand that I hold her.  I think it's because I was "working" it and couldn't walk around with her.
