This weekend we converted Elizabeth's room into a big girl bed. We planned to wait until spring break, but I couldn't put her off anymore. She was so excited, and I'm in love with the sweetness of her new room. We kept the color scheme the same which made it a lot easier (no painting of walls or changing out the decor).
We did switch the girls' chairs. We figured Elizabeth didn't need a recliner in her room anymore since we can stretch out in her bed if we need to. I am so happy that we figured out a way to get the chair by the window. I've wanted to do this since we set up her toddler bed.

She excited that she can actually use her growth chart now too.

I know she will eventually need a mirror, but I couldn't make myself take down her newborn portrait yet. |

This is her favorite pillow on her bed. Truth be told, after I made her bed, she moved this pillow in front so she could see it better. Thanks Meyers! |
While we were at it, I decided to rearrange Caroline's room too.

I really wanted her chair by the window too. |

I wanted to switch the wall decor, but then I got lazy. There would be so many extra holes in the wall and I really didn't feel like patching them and repainting. So I just didn't. I still like it the way it is. |

In the next 6 months, I will be repurposing this piece since hopefully she won't need a changing table anymore! |
And even though it was snowing and below freezing, I got ready for spring. I LOVE my new burlap Easter egg!

Thank you Christy for my early birthday present! |
I love that you have their hospital door signs as part of their rooms! :)
