For the first time ever our town square held a New Years celebration. It was very family friendly with activities for the kids like glow in the dark putt-putt and adult friendly things like beer and wine stands. AT 7:30 they did a ball drop for the kids which was actually a bunch of miniature Chick-fil-A cows drop. The drop itself was disappointing, but the fact that we were surrounded by friends and celebrating as a family was so fun. I kept feeling like we were in a Hallmark movie or something.

By 8:00 we were back home and the kids were upstairs in their playroom watching a movie. We had a babysitter come over so the adults could go celebrate actual New Years. |
